A depleted Oddfellows side travelled to Thompson Park to take on a even more depleted Wearside Wildcats side who started the game with only 10 men. The game kicked off and it was the 10-men Wildcats who should of scored first when a freekick was turned onto the underside of the bar by Carl Donkin and somehow their striker missed the rebound from 2 yards out. Oddfellows started to get a foothold in the game and took the lead on 15mins when Micheal Bulmers lob was heading wide but Darren Liddle was alert enough to race onto the loose ball and fire into an empty net. 0-1. Wildcats should of equalised when a mix up between Oddfellows centre half and goalkeeper let in the Wildcat striker but could only force Carl Donkin into a fantastic double save to keep the away side ahead. Oddfellows got a stroke of luck for their second goal when a fierce Bulmer cross took a big deflection and the ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper. 0-2. Oddfellows got a third just before halftime when Bulmer released Harding on the right side of the box and he rifled the ball into the top corner from 18yrds. 0-3.

Wearside Wildcats were looking to make a game of it in the second half when they had 3 men turn up a half time to make them have a full 11 and 2 subs but it was the away side who grabbed a fourth when an inch perfect corner from Stevie Allan was met by Darren Liddles delicate glancing header and it nesteld right into the bottom corner. 0-4. Oddfellows were full of confidence and soon got a fifth when again an Allan corner was met by Livingston at the back post and he made no mistake and powered his header home. 0-5. Oddfellows sixth soon followed when a Gareth Murray cross found Stevie Allan and he fired through a crowded penalty area to find the net. 0-6. With Wildcats completly falling apart at this stage it was Micheal Bulmer who capitalized with a hattrick in 15 minutes. The first he slotted past the goalkeeper after being 1-1, the second was a superb lob from the edge of the box and the third in stoppage time was again 1-1 and he rounded the keeper to fire home after been put through by a superb pass by Aaron Donkin. Well Done to Wearside Wildcats who never stopped going despite the heavey scorline and good luck to them for the remainder of the season. Oddfellows are at home to Seaham Malbrough next week in the league.
